The Dow Championship was introduced to the LPGA Tour schedule in 2019. 144 of the world's best golfers will tee off again at Midland Country Club in Michigan, June 23-29, 2025. The Dow Championship is played with 72 two-woman teams competing in a 72-hole stroke play format with alternating rounds of foursomes (alternate shot) and four-ball (best ball).
The tournament was founded with the vision of building community and accelerating the efforts of the Great Lakes Bay Region and Dow’s strategy by building a world-class and unique LPGA Tour event that positively impacts people’s lives.
While the LPGA tournament is at the heart of the Dow Championship, the event incorporates more than just golf. The whole family is invited to take place in the week-long series of community events, including the Eat Great food festival, a number of youth activities, and opportunities to give back and celebrate the Great Lakes Bay Region.
As part of our mission to create an even better place to live and work, the tournament is committed to #TeamingUp with LPGA players to benefit local charities throughout the region.
