Each of the chosen 36 nonprofits will be paired with two of the 72 LPGA teams. Each LPGA team is worth $2,250 – guaranteeing $4,500 for each nonprofit. A total pool of $237,500 will be donated through this program. Organizations can earn bonus funds through the Pro-Am pairings event, tournament rounds and being the most engaged charity. Details about these funds and team pairings will be announced at a later date. In 2019, HopeWell Ranch and The Care Store were selected as the most engaged charities.

“Our experience during the Dow GLBI’s #TeamUp for the Great Lakes Bay Region charitable giving program was something we will never forget,” said The Care Store Executive Director Kim McBryde. “The funds made such a significant impact on people who we help through The Care Store and we are grateful to have the support of the Dow GLBI in our communities.”

The Dow GLBI continued its partnership with the Midland Area Community Foundation, Bay Area Community Foundation, Saginaw Community Foundation and the Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation to assist with the 2021 selection process.

“We are so appreciative to have the support from our all of our community foundations in the Great Lakes Bay Region,” said Dow GLBI tournament director Wendy Traschen. “Now more than ever, our tournament is able to make a lasting impact on organizations in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
