Hall-of-Famer Juli Inkster Returns to LPGA Competition, Teams Up with Angel Yin for the 2026 Dow Championship, June 11-14

MIDLAND, Mich., June 4, 2026 – The 2026 Dow Championship field is set, featuring a world-class lineup of 72 two-player teams, including major champions, past champions and a returning Hall-of-Famer. The LPGA Tour’s only official team event, the Dow Championship returns June 11–14 at Midland Country Club in Midland, Mich., where teams will compete for a share of the $3.3 million purse.
Among the standout teams, LPGA Tour winner Angel Yin will partner with her longtime mentor, World Golf Hall-of-Famer Juli Inkster, who returns to competition. Inkster has played a pivotal role in Yin’s career, including selecting her as a U.S. Solheim Cup Captain’s Pick in 2017.
Also joining the field are 2025 Dow Championship runners-up Lexi Thompson and Megan Khang; sisters and 2021 champions Ariya and Moriya Jutanugarn; and sisters Aki and Chizzy Iwai, currently ranked No. 18 and No. 21 in the world, respectively.
Previously announced teams include, World No. 1 Nelly Korda and Olivia Cowan, Lydia Ko and Danielle Kang, defending champions Somi Lee and Jin Hee Im, and Alison Lee and Lilia Vu.
Epson Tour players Lakaraber Abe and Sarah White have accepted sponsor invitations and will team up for the 2026 Dow Championship. Abe is a member of ‘Team Dow’ and White is a former Michigan High School State Champion. The final sponsor invitation team is Jessica Jolly and Kaleigh Babineaux. Jolly won the Suzann Pettersen Amateur Qualifier presented by Frankenmuth Insurance on Wednesday, June 3 at The Fortress Golf Course and picked her partner, Babineaux, to compete.
In total, the field features:
- 17 major champions
- Three winners from the 2026 LPGA Tour season: Nelly Korda (Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, Chevron Championship, Riviera Maya Open), Hyo Joo Kim (Fortinet Founders Cup, Ford Championship) and Celine Boutier (ShopRite LPGA powered by Wakefern.
- Two past winning teams: Somi Lee and Jin Hee Im (2025); Ariya and Moriya Jutanugarn (2021)
- Six current or former World No. 1 players in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings: Ariya Jutanugarn, Jin Young Ko, Lydia Ko, Nelly Korda, Yani Tseng, Lilia Vu.

Ticket Options:
A variety of ticket packages are on sale for the Dow Championship at www.dowchampionship.com/tickets.
All ticket options include tournament access, public viewing areas, concessions, and youth activities. Kids 17 and under receive free admission with a ticketed adult.
- Daily ($10) or Weekly Tickets ($25): Single-day or full-week access.
- Eagle’s Nest & Sandtrap Social Hospitality Suites ($60): Elevated tournament experience including unlimited food and beverage, and exclusive views of the tournament. Eagle’s Nest is located near Hole 17 Green while Sandtrap Social is located at Hole 12 Tee box.
- Yoga on the Green presented by MyMichigan Health ($5): A 45-minute yoga class on the green at Midland Country Club on the morning of Saturday, June 13. Ticket includes a healthy snack, branded yoga mat and general admission to the tournament for the entire day.
- Veterans Hospitality Suite presented by Kelly (Free): Complimentary weekly tickets for military personnel and veterans, including access to the Veterans Hospitality Suite, plus a free guest ticket. A valid military ID is requested at the main admissions gate.
Tournament Week Events:
- June 6: Greater Midland Dow RunWalk - Races for all ages and abilities—from beginners to seasoned runners. Events include a 10K Run, 5K Run, 5K Walk, 1‑Mile Run, and Tot Trot. Learn more at greatermidland.org/races.
- June 7: Rock the Block presented by Dow Credit Union - A free community celebration to kick off championship week in Downtown Midland from 4:00–8:00 PM, featuring live entertainment, food experiences, family activities, and adoptable animals from local nonprofits.
- June 9: First Tee Junior Clinic presented by Wilson - A free junior clinic for children ages 5–18 at Currie Golf Course. Register at www.dowchampionship.com/spectator-information.
- June 13: Special Olympics 3-Hole Challenge presented by TaylorMade - Special Olympics athletes from the Great Lakes Bay Region will participate in the Special Olympics 3-Hole Challenge at the Midland Country Club.
